According to NJ Lottery officials, a Union County player won the first of three top prizes in the $5,000,000 Fortune, the biggest prize in the Lottery’s Scratch-Off stable.

The $30 ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #38719, 1171 Liberty Avenue, Hillside, Lottery officials said.

“I didn’t think I won anything,” the player said. “I checked it on a scanner and it said ‘jackpot.’ I go home and I looked again. So many zeroes. It’s just such a blessing.”

NJ Lottery officials stated other notable wins last week:

-June 8: Millionaire Maker: $2 million, Monmouth County. The second of three top prizes for the $25 ticket was purchased at Lakeside Food Store, 41 Main Street, Matawan.

-June 8: $1,000,000 Spectacular: $1 million, Bergen County. The third of three top prizes for the $10 ticket was purchased at Shoprite Liquor, 220 West Passaic Street, Rochelle Park.
