Authorities announced the arrest of 61-year-old George Malcolm, 33-year-old Jamar Wheeler, and 45-year-old Felix Estrella-Castro, all Newark residents, for an incident of illegal dumping last night.
According to police, at approximately 6:25pm, a marked patrol unit in the area of 125 Avon Avenue observed a blue pickup truck occupied by three males.
Police said the trio was observed dumping debris from their truck into a dumpster at the location.
Members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force responded to the location where they placed the three males under arrest for illegal dumping and illegal transport of solid waste.
Police towed the vehicle used to transport the materials which is now subject to seizure by forfeiture.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Illegal Dumping Task Force has made over 30 arrests since its inception on June 12, 2017.
