Three Men Rob Downtown Newark Chicken Shack

Police in Newark needs your help identifying several suspects wanted in connection with a commercial robbery that occurred on this morning.

Police say at approximately 10:15 a.m., police responded to the Kennedy Fried Chicken located in the 1100 block of Broad Street on a robbery call.

Police say the victims reported that they were robbed at gunpoint by the suspects identified in the pictures.

According to police, the suspects took cash and personal items belonging to the victims before running from the scene.

Police say, suspect one stole the victims’ white 2011 Honda Accord, NJ registration "A31-EBV" and fled towards Route 21. Suspects two and three fled on foot towards Austin Street.

Robbery detectives investigating this incident were able to capture the suspects’ photos from the establishment’s surveillance system.

They are actively searching for these suspects and are seeking the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from our streets. This investigation is active and ongoing.
