Police in Newark took several juveniles in custody and charged the teens with possessing a loaded weapon in a section of the city's Central Ward Friday night.
According to police, the suspects were taken into custody after police found them in the area of 17th and Westbrook avenues at approximately 8:35 p.m.
The teens were taken to the 1st Precinct for processing and a further investigation.
There were no injuries reported.
