Three people were hospitalized early Saturday morning following a violent stabbing incident in a Phillipsburg neighborhood, according to authorities.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an injured person around 5:45 a.m. on the single-digit block of Brainard Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals suffering from stab wounds and immediately requested emergency medical services.
One of the victims reportedly sustained serious injuries, while the others were also transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. 
Their conditions have not been publicly disclosed.
Investigators secured the scene with police tape as they began working to determine what led to the violent altercation.
As of Saturday morning, no arrests had been announced, and the identities of those involved have not been released.
