Three Children Struck by Car in Newark

Authorities in Newark have reported that three pedestrians, all male children ages 3, 4, and 8 years old, from Newark, were struck by a motor vehicle this morning .

According to authorities , at approximately 7:50 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Howard and West Kinney streets on a call of three children struck by a car.

The children were transported to University Hospital for treatment.

All the children are listed in stable condition.

The driver remained at the scene police said.

No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.

The investigation is continuing.
