Executed Warrants Lead to Three Arrests, Seizure of Illegal Guns, 10K in Drugs

Police arrested three city residents after they were allegedly caught with illegal guns and more than $10,000 in drugs Friday in two separate busts, according to police.

Essex County Sheriff's executed a warrant that led to arrest of two brothers – 22-year-old Gregory Scott and 21-year-old Tyree Scott, 22 - inside their North Munn Avenue apartment Friday morning.

According to authorities,they seized a fully loaded, .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun and found 10 vials of crack cocaine, 78 codeine tablets, a scale, and a bag of ammunition.

Both men were arrested on weapons and drug charges.

Later that morning, a second search warrant was excited at a 3rd Street apartment. There authorities arrested Sameerah Worsley, 32, were 1,075 decks of heroin - valued of over $10,000 - were seized.

Worsley was charged with drug and distribution charges.

The three were arraigned this morning, and are all being held at the Essex County Jail on $150,000 cash bond.
