Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred Thursday evening in East Orange.
The incident happened in the 300 block of Central Avenue, where three suspects, reportedly armed with a handgun, allegedly confronted the victim and stole a brown 2008 Nissan Rogue before fleeing the area.
Authorities issued a lookout for the stolen vehicle as officers searched the surrounding area. No injuries were immediately reported.
The investigation remains active, and no additional information has been released.
