Third Man Charged in Connection with June Homicide in Jersey City

Hudson County authorities reported on June 12 that a third man had been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Kyle Howard in Jersey City. 

Officials say, Dahmar Robinson, 22, of Newark, is charged with Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, and Receiving Stolen Property.

He was arrested on Monday, October 17, at the Morris County Correctional Facility, where he was being held on unrelated charges.

Two co-defendants, Quadre Domnie, 22, of Jersey City, and Jekhi Wade, 19, of North Plainfield, were arrested on Monday, July 25, and are being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities reported.

On Sunday, June 12, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of Forrest Street and Martin Luther King Drive.

An injured male victim of the shooting – later identified as Kyle Howard, 34, of Newark, was privately transported to Jersey City Medical Center.

He was pronounced dead at approximately 12:45 a.m. on June 13.
