Police in Irvington are investigating yet another theft of tires and rims that happened in the city overnight.
A resident in the 100 block of Laurel Avenue who was attempting to head out for work this morning was surprised that a thief had stripped his vehicle of tires and rims sometime through the night time.
This incident is the latest in a rash of vehicles that has had it's tires and rims taken by thieves who are apparently targeting neighborhoods in Essex, Hudson, and Union counties in the last couple of weeks authorities said.
There has been no report of any arrests made in these incidents.
