Police in Newark are reporting one of their vehicles stolen at a location in the city during the overnight hours.
According to a preliminary investigation, police issued a be on the lookout to surrounding towns for a black 2012 Chevy Tahoe with reported NJ license plate numbers "U76-JTD".
Police said the vehicle is unmarked and they are checking surveillance videos to find the individual responsible for the theft.
It is not immediately known if any weapons or police information was inside the vehicle at this time.
