Police are looking for two men accused of stealing 43 propane tanks from two industrial sites last week.

The first incident occurred on Dec. 16 at the Praxair, Welding Gas and Supply Center. Surveillance footage shows two men organizing and then loading a 1990's Dodge or Chrysler minivan with the tanks. A a light-colored Ford Escape appears to have also been involved, possibly as a lookout vehicle.

The second incident occurred that same night at James D. Morrissey Inc. Construction on the 4700 block of Pennpack.

A week later, the duo allegedly returned to Praxair to steal more tanks.

Police have alerted their Homeland Security division as a safety measure because of the number and size of some of the tanks taken. Some of the tanks stolen can hold as much as 100 pounds of propane, police added.
