New Jersey

Bright and clear skies are in the forecast for the day, as the national weather service reports that it will be "spring-like" weather around Northern NJ today and much of the week.

According to forecasters at the National Weather Service, if you are stepping outside for work or school now, the current temperature reads at a chilly 43 degrees, so I'd recommend wearing a warm jacket.

Forecasters said although the humidity is at a relatively high 71%, there won't be any strong winds to accompany it.

According to NWS,  the speed will rise slightly to 5 to 9 mph, so it's good to keep that in mind when planning outdoor activities.

Expect easier breathing today as the barometer is stable at 30.49, indicating steady atmospheric pressure. Meanwhile, the dew point is at 34°F, much lower than the current temperature.

Since Newark's schools are out for spring break, it is an excellent day for taking a stroll in the park or enjoying some outdoor sports. Forecasters expect visibility to be at a perfect 10.00 miles, which means that there are no obstructions in the way and everything can be seen clearly.   Camp

As for the forecast, the day is expected to be sunny, with a high near 61 degrees in much of Essex, Union, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris and Passaic counties.

The transition from winter to spring has been quite unpredictable, but this weather is an excellent sign that summer is just around the corner.

All in all, it looks like it's going to be a fantastic day with perfect weather. Don't forget to take some sunscreen and sunglasses if you plan to spend your day out in the sunshine.
