A teenage boy was airlifted to University Hospital this evening after he was struck by a train in Elizabeth.
The boy, around the age of 13, was struck in the vicinity of Franklin Street before 7:15 p.m. where emergency responders found him suffering a severe leg injury according to reports.
The boy is isted in serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances behind the incident.
