EMS transported a female victim who suffered an unspecified medical condition to University Hospital after the girl collapsed during a cheerleading practice at the Malcolm X Shabazz football field this evening.
First responders were called to the football field located on Johnson Ave. shortly before 7p.m. on reports of a teenage girl that was possibly suffering cardiac arrest at that location.
Several parents at the scene said that the girl just suddenly collapsed while engaged in activity.
The condition and the identity of the girl has not been released.
