Police in Hackensack are looking for several suspects responsible for an armed robbery of a taxicab in Hackensack late Saturday night.
Police say at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers were called to Columbus Park to investigate reports of a robbery in progress.
Several units arrived at the scene and were told by a taxicab operator that 4-5 black males approached armed with a gun and demanded cash. Police said one of the assailants possessed a handgun.
The suspects took about $65 from the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.
No physical injuries were reported.
