Taxi Cab Crash Causes Injury in Newark

An overnight crash that involved a taxi cab caused non-life threatening injuries in Newark.

The crash happened at the intersection of William Street and Washington Street at around midnight when the collision that involved a yellow cab and a vehicle violently collided rushing Newark's Emergency Responders to the scene.

Arriving crews located the badly damaged vehicles but there were no trapped occupants according to reports.

EMS treated at least two victims for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by The Newark Police Department.
