Target Recalled Heyday Charging Cables

New Jersey

A recall has been issued for the heyday 3-foot lightning USB charging cable.

According to reports, around 90,000 of the cables are being recalled because of the capability for shock and fire that they have.

The cables being recalled were previously told in nationwide Target stores and on the Target website starting in June 2018 to January of this year, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The cables are described as metal with purple, blue, and green iridescent colors. Also, the cable's connector has the word “heyday” printed on it.

The side of the cable's packaging has the model number 080 08 8261 printed on it.

Reports say that Target customers who have purchased these cables have issued 14 reports of the cables smoking, sparking, igniting, or burning their fingers.

If you have previously bought the recalled product, please return it to Target for a full refund.
