A suspicious vehicle at the Picatinny Arsenal gate, prompted an evacuation and road closure this afternoon.
According to officials, at approximately 11:30 a.m., an unauthorized driver tried to get through the post gate with what security described as 'a suspicious' vehicle.
The situation is being treated as an explosive threat at this time, officials added.
All arsenal employees were evacuated as of 1:44 p.m.
