The cause and manner of death is under review by the Medical Examiners Office for an elderly man found dead inside a home in Livingston authorities told RLS Metro Breaking News in a released statement.
Investigators from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office were called to the teens block of Carteret Road after police and medical crews located the body of a 69-year-old male inside a residence authorities said.
The man was discovered at around 7 p.m. after a call to police by an unidentified person reports said.
A spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said that a report from the medical examiner's office should be due back sometime today.
