Suspects Wanted for Violent Carjacking that Injured Mother, Child in Newark

Police in Newark is seeking the public’s help identifying the several individuals that they say is connected with a carjacking that happened on July 27, 2016 in the 100-block of Dickerson Street.

According to police, at approximately 6:20 p.m., a 31-year old female victim and her 11-month-old child were approached by two suspects who demanded the keys to her white 2007 Nissan wagon.

The victim and baby sustained non-life threatening injuries during the incident and were both treated at University Hospital police said.

Authorities said, while they are actively searching for the suspect(s), they are seeking the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from the streets.

**These are mere allegations lodged against these suspects. The suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law upon their capture or surrender.**

This investigation is active and ongoing police said.
