Police in Newark request the public’s help identifying two suspects who were captured on surveillance video stealing merchandise from a store on February 12.
According to authorities, police responded to a call about a shoplifting incident around 12:35 p.m. at Tommy’s Wig Store at 98 Market Street.
The store manager told officers that two women took three wigs and ran out of the store without paying.
Both women, who were captured on surveillance video, fled in a blue four-door vehicle.
Police say one of the suspects wore a black and green jacket, beige pants and Uggs footwear.
The second woman was wearing a black hat with “Boss” written on it. She also was wearing black boots, an orange shirt and a jacket.
