Suspects Wanted for Stealing Over $3K from Local Business in Newark

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the suspects in connection with an armed business robbery that occurred on Thursday, July 10.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that at approximately 9:42 p.m., two armed male suspects entered a business located in the 800 block of Sanford Avenue and ordered the workers to hand over their cash.

The suspects took a total of $1,530.00 from the workers and $1,607.00 from the business for a total of $3,137.00, according to Newark officials. 

Suspect #1 is described as approximately 5’10” tall with a medium build, Newark officials say. He was wearing a black hooded “Champion” sweatshirt, a ski mask, black sweatpants, and gloves

Newark Police said that suspect #2 (pictured) is described as a large male with a light complexion and a slight beard. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.
