Suspects Wanted for Robbing Man After he Left Newark Chicken Shack

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on June 17th.

Officials say at approximately 11:30 p.m., a male victim was robbed by two men after leaving Kennedy Fried Chicken, located at 1126 Broad Street. The victim’s cash and personal property were stolen.

Police described the first suspect as a 20 to 30-year-old male, approximately 5’7” tall, 170 lbs., has long dreadlocks and a slight beard. He was last seen wearing a burgundy Phillies baseball shirt, blue jeans, and burgundy sneakers.

Police say the second suspect is also approximately 20-30 years old, around 6-feet tall, 180 lbs. and a thin build. He wore a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a diamond stud earring in his left ear.

According to authorities, these two men were accompanied by a woman with dreadlocks, approximately 5’6” tall with a light complexion.

While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly identifying and removing them from Newark streets.
