Police in Newark issued a 'be on the lookout' to surrounding for a vehicle that was carjacked in the city's South Ward on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the incident was reported in the vicinity of Fabyan Place and Hawthorne Avenue, where police received reports of a carjacking in progress just before 3:30 p.m.
Officers arrived to find the victim who told them that three-four masked black males approached armed with a gun and took a blue 2005 Dodge Durango.
According to the victim, the suspects entered the car then sped away from the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
