Suspects Wanted for Newark Robberies, Shooting

The public’s help is being sought to identify suspects who are wanted for a series of robberies and their role in shooting incidents on November 15.

According to Police, Newark Officers responded to a robbery in progress at approximately 4:02 p.m. on Pacific Street.

When they arrived, the victim told police that one of the suspects assaulted him and the second suspect pulled out a handgun. The men took his wallet and fled in a white-colored Toyota 4 Runner.

The first suspect, armed with a handgun, has a medium brown complexion and beard and was wearing a black sweater.

The second suspect, who has a white complexion, was wearing a white sweatshirt and black pants.

Following the robbery, the vehicle was used in a shooting about 30 minutes later at 4:38 p.m.

Police said the victim, who was not injured, told officers that a white Toyota 4 Runner struck his vehicle at North 5th Street and Third Avenue.

When the victim tried to follow the suspects, one of them fired a shot at him at Abington Avenue and Fourth Street.

After this incident, two men told police that one of the suspects in the same Toyota 4 Runner pointed a gun at them when they saw the suspects robbing and assaulting a man in the 400 block of N. 5th Street.

The suspects then chased after the two men, who told police officers that they heard gunshots as they drove away from the suspects on N. 7th Street.
