Suspects Occupying Stolen Car in Bergen County Rams Police Vehicles

A Paramus Police officer suffered non-fatal injuries after the driver of a stolen vehicle rammed police cars in an attempt to elude authorities Wednesday night. 

Just before 11:20 p.m., police came across and attempted to stop a car that registration came back stolen, but the driver sped from officers who initiated the pursuit. 

Police managed to catch up with the vehicle where the driver and about three others bailed from the car but were captured on New Fairview Avenue. 

At least one of the suspects was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries before being arrested. 

The incident is under investigation.
