Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the male suspect, who broke into a vehicle and stole a bag containing $600 and a Versace watch on July 6.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that the theft incident occurred at approximately 5:28 a.m., when the suspect was captured on surveillance video in the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Ellery Avenue.
After peering into the windows of a 2019 black Acura wagon, the suspect shattered the rear passenger window with an unknown object, Newark Police said.
According to Newark officials, he opened the door and grabbed a black Coach bag with the cash and a Versace watch.
The suspect, who wore all black clothing, a black ski mask, and black sneakers, fled south on Ellery Avenue, Newark authorities say.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
