Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the male suspect in connection with a theft that occurred between Thursday, July 24th, and Friday, July 25th.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., stated that a victim’s Trek Aluminum bike was removed from a building on Madison Street near Downing Street.
The victim last saw the bike at 6 p.m. on July 24th and returned to retrieve it at 6:50 a.m. on July 25th to find that it was missing, Newark officials stated.
According to Newark officials, detectives investigating this incident observed video surveillance footage of the suspect entering the 1st floor parking lot of the building and removing the victim’s bike from the rack.
