Authorities in Newark are searching for a man who allegedly stole a woman’s phone and bank cards from her vehicle during a brief stop on Ferry Street.
According to information released by the Newark Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:50 a.m. on May 21, 2025, in the 200 block of Ferry Street.
The victim had double-parked her car and returned just five minutes later to find her iPhone, debit card, and credit card missing.
Investigators have released an image of the suspect and are asking the public for help identifying him.
