Police officials in Newark are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on Saturday, February 8th.
Police say shortly before 6 p.m., a woman was robbed by a man who stole her wallet after striking her with a closed fist in the 100 block of Broadway.
The suspect fled on foot, heading towards Crittenden Street. He is described as 5’10” to 6’ tall and 180 to 190 lbs.
The suspect was wearing a dark colored Adidas jacked with a dark hood and dark jeans.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying this suspect as part of this investigation.
