Police in Newark are looking for a suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery in the city's North Ward Friday evening.
Officers resided to reports of an armed robbery in progress at the Millenium Gas Station located in the 800 block of Mt. Prospect Avenue shortly before 7 p.m.
Upon arrival, police were told by employees that a male arrived at the station in a white BMW, armed with a knife, and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the scene in the vehicle.
Police canvassing the area found the unoccupied car on Grafton Avenue and Broadway.
No physical injuries were reported.
