Police reported no injuries in a Newark shots-fired incident that occurred on Friday morning.
A ShotSpotter Device alerted police of a shooting near 868 South 11th Street around 12:20 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they notified hospitals in the region to look for potential walk-in gunshot victims after police found multiple shell casings at that location.
Police believe that the suspect pulled up in a car then fired shots at individuals standing in the area.
According to reports, the vehicle then sped from the scene and was last observed on Clinton Avenue towards Stanley Street.
Authorities have not released arrests in the incident at this time.
