Authorities in Jersey City are looking for a suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery Thursday evening.
Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress at the Family Dollar store located in the 500 block of Bergen Avenue.
Upon arrival, police were told that a male suspect entered the establishment armed with a knife and believed to have taken unknown items or cash.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene and has not been apprehended at this time.
Police are checking surveillance video of the incident.
