Surveillance Images Show Alleged Robbery Suspects Using Victim's Credit Card at Jersey Gardens Mall

Newark Police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, December 19th in the city.

According to police, at approximately 10:25 p.m., police responded to the 200-block of North 7th Street on a robbery call.

Police said two black men robbed a woman of her personal belongings then fled the scene on foot.

Detectives investigating this incident obtained video footage of a man and woman using the victim’s credit card at the Foot Locker store in Jersey Gardens Mall on December 21st.

Police said the man is described as having a medium complexion, 6’ tall, has a mustache, and chin hair.

The man wore a black jacket, boots, tan shirt and light blue jeans police said.

According to police, the woman is described as having a light complexion, approximately 5’5 tall and thin.

The woman wore a light gray hooded sweatshirt, black headscarf (Hijab), boots, dark blue uniform pants with a light blue stripe down the leg.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
