Surveillance Captures Vandal Smashing Newark Business’ Window, Cameras


Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with criminal mischief incident that occurred on Jan. 21st.

According to authorities, at approximately 3:30 a. m., officers responded to Metro PCS, located at 494 Springfield Avenue, on a call of criminal mischief.

Upon arrival, police learned a man approached the store and broke its front window and two cameras.

The suspect is described as having a medium to dark complexion with a goatee. He also has a thin build and was wearing gray jeans, a gray sweatshirt, and white sneakers.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from the streets.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
