Police in Hillside are investigating a strong armed robbery that occurred at a gas station in town.
Police said on Tuesday, at around 5 pm, an attendant at a station located at North Broad and Hillside Avenue, was approached by two black males from behind.
Police said the suspects grabbed the attendant in a choke hold while the other suspect removed $200 dollars from his pocket.
The attendant was not injured during the robbery.
Both suspects fled west on Hillside Avenue towards Hilldale Place according to Police.
