Newark Police are on the search for suspects responsible for shootings on South 10th Street and an incident on Fairmount Avenue.
In the first incident, at around 4:40 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired near 490 South 10th Street.
Units arrived at the scene and found a car damaged by bullets, but no victims were found in the car or around the neighborhood.
Police said in separate incidents that occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m., stray bullets struck a vehicle in the area of 216 Fairmount Avenue.
When officers arrived, they canvassed the scene for victims, but no injuries were reported.
The motive for both shootings remains under investigation.
