Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Jersey City on Monday evening.
A resident in the 90's block of Woodward Street dialed 911 after they arrived home and noticed a bullet hole in their window before 7:55 p.m.
According to the investigation, a bullet landed on the resident's couch, but no one was inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Police canvassed the neighborhood for surveillance video to locate who fired the gun into the apartment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
