At 67 degrees in Downtown Newark as of 6 a.m., the air felt noticeably cleaner and more comfortable.
Whether you're walking the dog, catching the early bus, or grabbing a coffee before work, Monday’s weather is shaping up to be one of the nicest starts to a week this summer.
According to the National Weather Service, the day will remain mostly cloudy with a high near 76 degrees.
A steady north wind of 11 to 16 mph will keep the atmosphere mild and breezy throughout the day.
Tonight, skies will begin to clear, and temperatures will drop to a low around 61 degrees, continuing the cool-down trend.
With no major systems expected and temperatures forecasted to remain in the 70s, residents can expect a quiet, calm, and comfortable stretch of weather as the new week continues.
