State Police Arrest Man for DWI and Seize $30,000 Worth of Heroin

The New Jersey State Police have arrested Javier Cuevas, 41, of Kingston, P.A. and seized a pound of heroin as the result of a traffic stop.

Police said in a press release that on Monday, January 28, at 9:07 p.m., Trooper Anthony Wolcott stopped Cuevas for a traffic violation westbound on the Interstate 80 at milepost 18.4 in Allamuchy Township, Warren County.

During the stop, police say. Tpr. Wolcott determined that Cuevas was under the influence and arrested him for DWI.

After further investigation, he discovered that Robinson was in possession of $30,000 worth of heroin and cannabis was according to police.

Javier Cuevas was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal under the influence, and DWI. He was lodged at the Warren County Jail pending a bail hearing.

Charges are mere accusations and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
