State Police Seize $250,000 worth of Heroin at Turnpike Service Area

Police said on Friday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m., State Police detectives arrested Aaron Williamson, 27, of Irvington, N.J. after they spotted him allegedly smoking marijuana in his parked Ford Fusion at the Thomas Edison Service Area in Woodbridge Township.

Detectives seized 25,575 doses of packaged heroin, 50 pills of oxycodone valued at $1,000, and eight grams of marijuana from inside his car according to police.

Aaron Williamson was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone, and possession of marijuana.

He was lodged at Middlesex County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.

Charges are mere accusations and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
