EMS transported one person to St. Joseph's Hospital suffering a stab injury that occurred at a location in Paterson during the overnight hours.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 12:50 a.m. in the 200 block of Straight Street where police received reports of an injured person at that location.
Units arrived at the scene found the bleeding unidentified victim suffering a stab wound according to authorities.
There were no immediate reports of life-threatening injuries.
The motive for the incident remains under investigation.
