Mercer County authorities are investigating a violent attack at a bar that left one person stabbed and seriously injured in Trenton.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at a bar in the 1000 block of Clinton Avenue at around 1 a.m. where 911 calls had police on the scene after they received reports of an injured person.
Police units arrived at the scene to find one person suffering stab injuries to the head at that location according to officials.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where doctors treated serious injuries.
Police continued their investigation at the La Terraza Bar to find the motive behind the incident.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
