Police officials in Newark are reporting non-fatal injuries for the victim of a stabbing incident that occurred on Wednesday morning.
According to police, the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Wicker Court.
Police say they found the victim suffering a stab wound in his leg at that location.
The injured was transported to University Hospital for treatment and expected to survive.
The motive for the attack is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
