Police in Elizabeth are investigating a stabbing incident that sent a male to the hospital Saturday night.
It happened near The Jewish Educational Center located in the 300 block of Elmora Avenue at approximately 11:49 p.m.
Police say officers arrived and found the victim suffering stab wounds at that location.
The unidentified patient was transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Three male suspects -one with long hair, and the other with a bandana- were observed running from the scene and remain at-large.
There was police activity with a search for the suspects that spanned up to Westfield Avenue, according to police officials.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
