Middlesex County law enforcement officials are looking into the motive for a stabbing attack at a South Brunswick Home Depot that sent a person to the hospital Saturday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of a stabbing in progress at 4095 US-1 around 9 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified person suffering a stab injury in the chest.
Reports say the severely injured victim was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation by South Brunswick Police.
