Stabbing Leaves Two Seriously Injured in Newark

The victims of a brutal early morning stabbing that happened in the city's South Ward has police investigating.

The incident unfolded at around 3:15 a.m. when a male victim reportedly entered the police headquarters located in the 400 block of Clinton Avenue suffering multiple stab wounds according to initial reports.

The badly injured victim pointed police in the direction of Jeliff Avenue and Clinton Avenue where officers rushed out of the precinct converging on the location where they found a crime scene and a second person suffering multiple stab wounds in the parking lot of Wilnora Holman Way.

The victim that walked into police headquarters suffered over a half dozen stab wounds while the other male victim suffered multiple stab wounds (with one to the head) according to reports.

Both victims were transported to University Hospital where their conditions were only reported to be serious.

Police setup a crime scene in the parking lot of Wilnora Holman Way where they searched for evidence that will possibly point to a motive for the double stabbing.
