Authorities in Jersey City are looking into the motive behind a stabbing that sent a person to the hospital on Thursday night.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Clifton Place to investigate reports of an injured person around 11:30 p.m.
Police officers located the victim suffering a stab wound in their stomach upon their arrival.
The unidentified person was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
No arrests have been officially stated by Jersey City officials at this time.
