One person was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital after a stabbing occurred in a section of Paterson overnight.
Police say it happened around 2:40 a.m. near 282 Broadway, where officers received reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found the bleeding victim suffering a serious stab wound. The suspect reportedly produced a knife and began stabbing the victim, who police believe are acquainted.
The motive is under investigation and no arrests have been confirmed.
